About Marie

I decided to change my passion into a career in 1999 when I returned to college to study Photography. I studied at Huntingdon Regional College and concentrated on portrait photography. I passed with a National Diploma (Distinction) and City and Guilds. Straight from college I was offered a position with Venture Portraits, here I learnt the skill of shooting fun, contemporary portrait photography. After a few years employment, I decided to start my own Photography business I enjoyed many years running a successful wedding photography business before deciding to start a family myself.

I am now a very proud mother of two! The arrival of my children has sparked my enthusiasm for child portraiture. I absolutely love interacting and photographing families and children, I use all the skills of a mother to make sure the children have fun so that I can capture their true personalities.

Over the last few years my business has established itself for fun, natural portrait photography with many clients returning annually. I also run fundraising portrait events, please enquire if you would be interested in me running one for your group or charity.

I am specifically trained in newborn safety and posing, my work is natural and pure and I only photograph babies in this manner, I do not offer any unnatural composite poses which the baby would be unable to hold themselves.

I have spent many years researching the best quality products on the market, my favourite thing is seeing the finished artwork displayed in a beautiful format and know that this will bring pleasure for many years to come.

My photography is honest and natural, capturing those moments in time which should never be forgotten.
